Biking Nelson relies on their website for most of their bike hire bookings. Their previous website was built over 10 years ago and was not working properly and was very difficult to update.

I built them a new website on our super-fast NZ-based hosting and used some images from the Nelson Tasman Regional Identity Website. The bikes have their own booking forms, so it’s easy to follow up and update the various prices.

The Logo was supplied and the website was designed to match. Keeping plenty of white space with big text so it’s easy to read. Everything is designed to float and seamlessly adjust to mobile phones, which is important as many bookings are from tourists traveling with only a mobile phone.

We realised it was time to upgrade and renew our website for our bike rental business as the existing one was 10 years old and it wasn’t very user friendly for mobile devices. We contacted Bryce and discussed options with him, mobile device friendly being top of the list. Also he took some fresh new photos and built an easier booking system, for both ourselves and our site visitors.
