The power and purpose of blogging
Blogging regularly is how we tell Google that the site is active, up to date, and searchable online. It’s is part of the site owner’s job to upload content relevant to the website. A bit like what I am doing here.
Once you start blogging each week, and post the links to the blog post to social media channels we experience more site traffic. This helps google recognise the site is more useful than a site that is static. It’s a bit like a shop that has closed sign on the door and lights off.. it suggests it’s parked and out of date.
With WordPress websites, we install google analytics so you can see the site traffic and tweak online ads to see if they are working or not.
